The Brief for Snow White was to keep the stage light, spacious and minimalistic.
The main design is centred around the elegant curved stone platform with a dramatic central entrance. This shape is continued throughout in the stylised trees and decorative details to create a striking, graphic effect against the plain background.
Location and time were transformed simply through lighting and design inserts such as a magic mirror “boudoir” screen and the dwarves’ wall. Interactive set pieces and props including an oversized sofa for the dwarves to crawl under and a chariot for Snow White complete the design.
